The WILL™ SDK and Service Family
WILL™ SDKs and Services enable you to leverage the algorithms that vectorise raw pen data into beautiful digital ink, and store digital ink in the .will file format for use within any application and pen-enabled device. This extraordinary toolset is modular, and each element offers you an awesome array of features and freedom. Each module can be configured, replaced, or left out according to the requirements of your specific application, providing you with maximum development flexibility.
The complete set of SDKs and services is displayed in the diagram below. The foundation is the SDK for devices, which allows you to integrate inking hardware into your applications. The SDK for ink allows you to add beautiful digital ink to your app, and the SDKs for documents and signature allow you to adapt the digital ink aspect for specific use cases that involve document- and signature-centric workflows. Finally, our two cloud services allow you to export WILL™ to different file formats such as .pdf, and enable WILL™ to be used in collaborative cloud apps.

WILL SDK for ink
Empowers you to include premium digital inking features in your applications.
WILL™ supports a variety of input technologies and generates the highest quality, most attractive digital ink outputs via these modules:
Path generation and smoothing, reflecting the specific characteristics of each input type including pen movement and pressure
Rasterizer providing advanced real-time stroke rendering
Manipulation-supporting editing functions that leverage the WILL™ stroke mathematical model
Serialization encoding for encoding and decoding WILL™ stroke data
The WILL™ SDK for ink also provides platform-specific packages for iOS, Android, Windows UWP and Web. These packages provide deep integration with the hosting platform by using native packaging and programming techniques, and by providing platform-specific language bindings for all modules in the software library. Additional integration can be supported on request via a partnership contract.
